(More customer reviews)I just bought this train station and it looks even better than I was expecting. Not only does it look amazing but the sound effects are so cool. There are a couple of the decorations that hang so extra care has to be given to make sure nothing breaks but all in all it seems pretty sturdy. I also bought the engine and dining car. Everything especially the train cars are bigger than I thought they would be. Together, everything looks awesome! I cannot wait for halloween so I can put them out.

Looking to escape the spine-chilling, hair-raising happenings of All Hallow's Eve this year? Travelers beware--don't go to the Rickety Railroad Station to buy a ticket out of town! A chilling addition to Department 56's Snow Village Halloween collection, haunts and horrors await unsuspecting rail riders at this ominous depot. The exceptionally well-detailed ceramic building features flashing lights and scary sounds coming from within the dilapidated, cob-webbed building. Outside is no safer as the only bench is taken up by a gaunt, ghoulish salesman who looks none too friendly. This 10th anniversary piece makes a great start to a new Halloween village or a fittingly frightful addition to a seasoned collector's set. It measures 11-1/2 inches wide by 8 inches deep by 8-1/4 inches high and includes an adapter cord. Packaged in an original Snow Village Halloween box; introduced in 2008.
