(More customer reviews)I was going to build my daughter a doll house out of a shelving unit, when I came across this dollhouse. Most of the Barbie dream houses are cheaply made, with tacky furniture drawings, and never enough room to play properly. This baby has it all. I was able to get it half off with free shipping and it was well worth every penney. Thankfully I didn't wait until Christmas Eve to put it together. It was very time consuming. The other poster was right, the directions were very detailed but I had to constantly refer to the website picture to see which was the front of each piece. All of the holes lined up beautifully. Once assembled it is very sturdy and well designed. Our elevator works easily. The bed was cracked, but I wrote to the company and am hoping they will send me a replacement. I was expecting a great layout and design but wasn't expecting the quality in this doll house. That was a pleasant surprise. My kids are 9, 7 and 6 and they can all play together.
