(More customer reviews)I have been searching around for Air Purifiers for some time now as there seems to be a huge market for these items. I decided to go with the Air Shield by Advanced Pure Air. I felt there were some unique features that I didn't see in other models, including the fact that it cleans a 700 square foot area, which seems to be more than others in this price range. I have major allergies, and this year I needed to try something different to help me thru them. A few weeks after I picked up the unit, I really started to notice a huge difference in the air quality, and my allergies have not been nearly as bad. The unit seems to learn what the air quality is like, and there is an auto mode that I set so the air quality remains consistently great. It will also kick on if other odors become present. I was cooking the other night, and sure enough, as soon as the food odors became strong in the air, my air shield went right to work and started to attack the odors. I'm definitely impressed, and for the price I definitely feel that I've received a great value. Highly recommend this product!
