(More customer reviews)Cast iron opener has some moisture damage (discoloration and a touch of rust in spots) which dosent bother me. It is going to be mounted outside. But if you wanted it to be pristine you would be disappointed. For me, this is not an issue and i think it gives the opener character. If you want shiny, get the polished stainless one.
