(More customer reviews)I purchased this bed in CA king size for my memory foam mattress & was pleasantly surprised! It is beautiful and sturdy. No particle board. Nice espresso finished hardwood with glides pre-installed on all the legs, so it's easy to move around. Slatted platform is securely screwed to frame for stability, evenly spaced with connecting double ribbons.
Not only was it shipped fast, it was easy to transport (3 boxes) & assemble -- minor issue with 2 predrilled holes not lining up (easily remedied with drill).
I assembled it upside down & flipped it over with no trouble & I'm 5'2"& a weakling.
Spectacular & cost far less than ugly plastic/metal bed foundations.
