(More customer reviews)I ordered this bed to hold our new memory foam mattress - the slats would provide the air circulation needed under the foam. The assembly was fairly easy - it was only slightly awkward because we needed a California King size, so all the parts were bigger. The deliveryman kindly agreed to take it the several long boxes to our 2nd floor, thank goodness. The frame is great quality for the money - I shopped around a lot and didn't find anything nearly as nice for the price. The slats were of a lesser quality wood, and had big knots in the wood, but there were enough of them and they don't show, so that it didn't matter. The shape of the headboard and the legs are sleek, and it looks very nice in our bedroom. I would recommend this to a friend.
