(More customer reviews)We bought this book more than a year ago when planning a family vacation to Orange County. We wanted to go to Disneyland but hoped to stay in a house/cottage rather than at a big impersonal hotel for a week. Lee's book gave us a great feel for various towns and neighborhoods in Orange County and led us to rent a cottage in Corona Del Mar - a lovely walkable neighborhood within Newport Beach. We would never have found the area without his help and we had such a great time walking to the beach, restaurants, local eateries, etc. that we are returning this year. Of course, being almost 10 years old, the specific restaurant details and price info is very out of date.
