It is a beautiful photography book. Full page photos with a short caption on the facing page. The captions are well researched and reveal interesting details about the subject matter... everything from historical details to the Native American names for the place.
Stephanie Izzo takes beautiful photographs. She ranges from artistic renderings of Providence's reclaimed riverfront to romantic, bridge shots at sunset. Whether you live in Rhode Island and want to show off your home state or, like me, live far away and want to relive a summer spent in Newport, this is a great book to have and show off.
