(More customer reviews)I am building a Colonial period dollhouse and looked forward to this book showing me what rooms of that era looked like. There were a few color plates at the beginning and that's all. The rest of the photos are excellent, but all of them are black and white! Because of the lack of color photography, I'm kind of disappointed in this book. In terms of showing furniture styles and arrangement, this book was fine. But I will have to go somewhere else to get an idea of color schemes used in the Colonial period.
