(More customer reviews)I highly recommend this book - it gives detailed information on how to find the beaches and what you can do at them (even down to giving info on whether the beach has fire-rings and whether you can tide-pool, swim, surf etc etc etc). I have only lived in Orange County for a year so I find it especially useful but I am pretty certain that even long-time residents may find some interesting new places to visit in this book. Check out the third edition before buying - I bought that one for myself and then found the 4th edition as a gift for a friend. Having seen them both myself, they are basically identical but the 3rd edition is obviously cheaper. With summer coming up, I am really excited about using this book to explore all the beaches Orange County has to offer!
